Klamath Basin Fourth i Portland Man Taker Smokejumpers Sent to Mud Spring Fire Cave Junction A man-caused fire at Mud Springs in the Siski you mountains near Cave Junc tion sent two smokejumpers from the Siskiyou Aerial Pro ject out at 10 a.m. Monday. The fire, first call to be answ ered this year by local jumpers, was under control by 10 p.m. Another call from the O'Brien area came in Sunday evening shortly after a thunderstorm brought heavy rains to the val ley, but it was found to be a false alarm. The parade is being sponsored by the Klamath County Junior Chamber of Com merce. Deadline for filing entries in the parade is June 25. Entries should be mailed to Amos R. Burnett, 2453 Applegate ave., Klamath Falls. He is parade chairman. The forms should include type of entry, number of units being submitted, organization being represented and name and ad dress of the individual entering the unit, according to Burnett.
