First practice will be held Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. at the Mc Loughlin Junior High school field, and all women and girls interested in playing Softball Miss are invited to attend. If enough interest is shown, more than one team will be or ganized. Practices will be held every Thursday, beginning at 6 o clock. Those turning out for practice are asked to take a soft ball glove. Mrs. Ivah Jane Murray is re turning as nature and conserva tion specialist: crafts director will be Miss Jean Lewis of Co lumbus, Ohio. Waterfront di rector will be Miss Dolores Schleiehert: this will be her second year at Low Echo; and she will be assisted by Sheila Spence of Medford Jackie Callan of Medford will be in charge of boating Unit leaders will be Miss Joy Adams of Medford. Miss Hazel Jones of Medford will be camp caretaker acain this year. For the first time, this year there will be a Pioneer unit at camp. This unit will accom modate 14 girls between the ages oi 13 and 17; it will be staffed by two leaders, each having her Water Safety Instructorship. Registrations for all four ses sions are open; all girls between the ages of 9 and 17 are eligible to go to camp. The first session will start July 7 and close July 14. inclusive, a full 7 day session. Mips ! An open house will be held at Camp Low Echo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, for all parents, families and friends. Those going should take a picnic lunch; coffee and punch ' will be served by the camp com mittee. There will be no visitors ' at camp during camping sessions. All camp staff, campers, pro gram aides, and counselors in training must have a physical ex amination ten days before ar rival at camp. Traveler Talks For Fellowship Mrs. A. C. Pierce, Medford, ! spoke for the last meeting of j Women's fellowship, Frist Christian church. Mrs. Pierce told of her recent tour of for eign countries, and of the work ; being accomplished by mission aries. I She brought greetings from ' the Delbert Troxell family, the Medford church's living link mis sionaries in Japan. The Trox ells are serving under the aus pices of the United Christian Missionary society. Mrs. Pierce was introduced by Mrs. Ralph Cook, program chair man. Mrs. William Piper conducted an installation and dedication service for elective officers, circle leaders, study and ser vice directors for the coming year. Mrs. Floyd Putman was elect ed worship director. Women were asked to attend a service day program scheduled for June 19. Boxes of clothing will be pack ed for the White Swan Indian mission, and housekeeping work '. will be completed in the church kitchen. ! Dedication of quarterly mis sionary offerings and the yearly "love gift" offerings was con ducted by Mrs. W. A. Denny. Mrs. Warren C. Fairbanks. Mrs. Claude Cooper and Mrs. Elmer Gott. Music for the day was pro vided by Mrs. W. C. Pcston, Nancy Marshall, Lois Rhyon, Mrs. A. F.
