The party, which was sponsored by the parents of the graduates, was held in the Millers' garden, with approximately 200 guests attend ing. On the committee were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Naumes, Dr. and Mrs. Florian Shasky, Mr. and Mrs. James McGowan. and Mr. and Mrs. Elie Nouguier. The house and garden were decorated with pink roses, and the entertainment consisted of dancing and shuffleboard. Mr. and Mrs. Miller's son. Stephen, was one of the gradu ates. Mother Attends School Graduation Mrs. Charles Thurston of 1641 Ridgeway avenue. Medford left for Berkeley, Calif., Thursday morning to attend the gradua tion exercises of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Gillooly, the form er Miss Patricia Hampson. Mrs. Gillooly, who received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of California Fri day evening, majored in psy chology. She plans to leave fol lowing graduation for Japan where she will make her home until her hubsand completes his tour of duty with- the United States Army in Korea. Two Veteran Groups To Meet on Tuesday Roguette circle, Military Or der o Lady Bugs, will hold a meeting Tuesday, June 11, at 8 p.m. in the Veterans hall, 42 Front street. Encampment de tails will be discussed and re freshments will be served fol lowing the meeting. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Military Order of the Cooties. She carried a gardenia cascade bouquet and her findertip veil was held by a Juliet cap. The white silk handkerchief she car ried was borrowed from an aunt of the bridegroom and has been in the family for four genera tions. Miss Jeannette Robertson, sis ter of the bridegroom, was maid-of-honor. She wore an ice blue net over taffeta, ballerina length gown and carried garden ias. The bridesmaids wore pas tel gowns of net over taffeta and carried matching carnation nose gays. They were Miss Lynda Robertson. Sacramento, Calif., cousin of the bridegroom. Miss Susan Falkenhagen, Miss Norma Noble, and Miss Gayle Norris all of Eagle Point. Candlebearers were Miss Lor raine Davis, Medford. cousin of the bridegroom, and Miss Paula Nelson, Eagle Point. They wore pink gowns and carried white candles in white nosegays. The flower girl was Leslie Marie Wakeman, Gold Hill, cousin of the bridegroom, and wore a yel low pastel gown. Byron Davis, Medford. cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were David Rob ertson, Sacramento, Calif., cou sin of the bridgegroom, Gary Deal, San Francisco, Larry Lewis, Medford, Lee Sanderson, Gold Hill, Roy Knoebel and Terry Dufour, both of Eagle Point. White roses and azaleas filled the altar vases and other white garden flowers completed the church decorations. Mrs. Suttle wore a charcoal grey dress with black accessor ies and a 'double cymbidium or chid corsage. The bridegroom's mother wore a periwinkle blue suit dress with white accessories and a double cymbidium orchid corsage. A reception followed the cere mony at the Grange hall in Eagle Point and was attended by the 150 wedding guests and families of the couple. Members of the bridegroom's family and other guests from Sacramento. Calif., were Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Robertson, grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Robert son, aunt and uncle, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Linton. Following the rehearsal Satur day evening, her bridemaids feted the bride with a late din ner at Kim's restaurant in Med ford. Mr. Robertson and his bride spent a short honeymoon in Cal ifornia. Lady Lions Hold Initiation Rites Medford Lady Lions received four new members into the or ganization at initiation cere monies following a no-host din ner meeting held at the Rogue Valley country club Tuesday evening. The candlelight initiation was conducted by Mrs. Robert Dames and Mrs. Herbert Seitz for Mrs. Earl Nelson, Mrs. E. Seitzler, Mrs. W. B. Dziarmaga and Mrs. James W. Bayliss. Each was presented a corsage and a pin of the organization. Mrs. Harriet Ashton of Spo kane was introduced as a spe cial guest during the meeting. Election of officers was held and elected were Mrs. H. M. Christopherson, president, Mrs. Herbert Seitz, vice - president, Mrs. Edward Ashton, secretary, Mrs. W. B. Dziarmaga, treasur er. Final plans for the coming Lions convention were an nounced by the co-chairman Mrs. Kenneth Campbell and Mrs. Lee Mellish. Mrs. Joseph Tomjack, retiring president was presented with a gift of appreciation by her officers at the conclusion of the meeting. Seniors Honored At Supper Party Graduating seniors of First Methodist church were enter tained at a terrace supper at Wilson Haven on the Rogue, home of Dr. and Mrs. Verne Wilson, June 3. The Woman's Society of Chris tian Service, sponsor of the eent, honors the high school graduates each spring. Mrs. Ben Greaser, secretary of youth work for the Woman's Society, planned the supper with the assrstance of Mrs. Jerry Igo. counselor of the Methodist Youth Fellowship, and Mrs. Verne Wil son, secretary of student work for the society. Dr. Raymond Balcomb spoke to the group concerning the future and extended the good wishes of the church. Further fellowship was provided through games and singing. Guests present were the Misses Sue Donna Doolen, Ann Garner. Susie Johansen, Sallie Greaser. Joan Fretwell, Melva Greaser. Marilyn Parsons and Nancy Walstead, Gary De Garmo. Ken neth Van Ausdall, Michael Stearns, Jay Mullin and Dick Anderson. The church school superin tendent, Charles Thompson, and Mrs. Thompson were guests, as were Miss Marjorie Sandfort. Miss Mary Vandenberg. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Bills, The Rev. George Trobough. and Mrs. Tro bough, and Mrs. Horace Doolen. Officers Elected By Templar Lodge Election of officers was held at the stated meeting of Knights Templar June 5. Initiation of a class of candidates into the Illus trious Order of The Red Cross followed. Installation of officers will be held Saturday, June 29 at 8 p.m. in the Masonic temple at Ash land followed by a dance for all Knights and their families and Masonic friends. Officers to be installed are, emminent commander, Charles G. Goold; generalissimo, Lloyd E. Hamlin; captain general, Fur man H. Evernham; treasurer, George W. Dunn; recorder, Frank H. Barnthouse: senior warden, William O. Yates; jun ior warden, Harry E. Schulz; standard bearer, Mike Wilmoth; sword bearer, Waller Hamby. Airs. Frank Chapman To Be Club Hostess Past Noble Grand club of Olive Rebekah lodge will meet Thursday, June 13, at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Frank Chap man, 1041 West Eleventh street. Medford. Mrs. Larry Sheehan, past president from Rogue River auxiliary, will be installing offi cers. At the last meeting of the group final details were com pleted for the decorations and entertainment to be used for the fun breakfast at the 1957 Lions convention which will be held in Medford, June 20 through 22. Delegates and delegate - at large to attend the convention from the auxiliary will include Mrs. George Potucek, Mrs. Clif ford 5IcGinty, Mrs. Jack Ingram and Mrs. Dan Dwyer.
