Third, is the "substitute level" and then he can find ways and means of working off his frus tration. Finally is the "mature level." They suggested that victims of "atopic eczema" have never left the "organ level" no matter how old they are in years. They have a "severely limited repertoire of expressive behavior." Aggressive Techniques With the victims whom they have studied and treated, those who showed and maintained im provement were those who "used aggressive techniques to solve their problems," they said. "They have dared to express re bellion against frictional rela tionships, sever old dependency ties, and move to positions of in creased personal freedom." The victims, they continued, obviously fall short of ideal ma turity in their continuing need for control to keep in force a position of secure dependence upon others." 'It can be done without getting into the position of inciting them to rebellion in the family circle. They should be assured that strife is perfect ly natural in human relations." Danger of Forest Fires Increases Local officials for state and I national forest lands warned to day that fire conditions in south ern Oregon are reaching the critical stage in most areas. Travelers should exercise cau tion with cigarets, matches and campfire, they said. Forest "fuel," or undergrowth, in the lower elevations and on the south slopes are beginning to dry out, according to Jack Wood, supervisor for the Rogue River National forest. Higher slopes are about normal for this time of year, although the repeated hot days are gradually drying out all forest lands. State protected forest lands are equally critical, with three lightning fires reported May 30. Three small fires from lightning i also were extinguished in the Rogue forest. PONY IS 35 Brookings, S.
