Britain May Continue Atomic Bomb Tests Christmas Island Hi Britain may continue its Pacific H-bomb tests for some weeks and ex plode a device even more pow erful than the megaton bomb set off last Friday, informed sources said today. Friday's bomb, second explod ed in the test series, equalled one million tons of TNT and was the largest ever detonated by Britain. Traders assumed that meant the giant chemical company would be forced to distribute its holdings of General Motors stocks 63 million shares to its stockholders. DuPont stock ran up six points to 202 '2 from an early low of 19334. Toward closing, however, nearly all the gain was wiped out. General Motors did nothing price-wise.
