The bridegrooms are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Elrio Burgess of Ashland. House Tour Set Tuesday Reservations will be accepted accepted for the Junior Service League house tour through Tues day noon. They may be made by railing Mrs. Gilbert Tumy at SP 2-7400 or Mrs. Floyd Bak er at SP 2-7680. Tickets may be purchased at Jean Hart's shop at 617 East Main street all day Monday during shopping hours. The house tour will be held Tuesday, June 4 from 2 until 5 p.m. with tea being served at one of the homes. Pouring dur ing the afternoon will be Mrs. Carl Wimberly Jr.. Skinner on Hillside drive, the Walter Graff home on Hillside drive, and Mrs. Floyd Hart's home on Grant road. League members will act as hostesses at each house. Mrs. R. B. Thierlf is tea chair man with Mrs. Wright Scoville and Mrs. Lon Skinner chairman of the house tour. Mrs. Scott Ellis is in charge of the tea table decortions. Proceeds from the house tout will benefit the Junior Service League's kindergarten for hard-of-hearing children. England of Cave Junction announce the marriage of their daughter. Roberta, to Airman Fred Guffey May 2 at Randolph Air Base in Texas. The bride is serving with the United States Air Force at Ran dolph field after taking her basic training at San Antonio. Tex. She is a 195 graduate of Illinois Valley High school, and later attended LaVprne college near Los Angeles for one and one-half years. lhe bridegroom is an airman 1 second class in the USAF. with relatives and friends in the valley. They are now guests of Mr. Carpenter's brother and sis-ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. V. Carpenter, at their home Topsides on Old Stage road. The visitors, who formerly lived here, are now residine in Carmel, Calif., but came to Med ford from Kcw York City where they have been spending tha past few weeks. The trip west was by way of Cleveland, Ohio, and Portland. Ruth Peterson And Dean Wilcox Married in Reno Miss Ruth Ann Peterson be came the bride of Dean Wilcox in a candlelight ceremony Sat-i urday. May 2o, in Reno, Nevada. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey J. Peterson of Route 1. Box 60. Ashland, and is a graduate of Talent High school. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilcox of Ashland and attended schools there. Given in marriage by her fath er, the bride wore a white knit suit with white accessories and carried a bouquet of pink rose buds. Mrs. Don Wilcox, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, was honor attendant and Miss Carol Jean Peterson, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Don Wilcox served as best man. The newlywed couple are making their home at 47 Myers court, Medford; the bridegroom is employed by DeArmond Lum ber company. Also attending the Reno cere mony were the bride's mother, the bridegroom's father and Johnny Peterson. ; A guest at the Carpenter home earlier was Mrs. Willard W. Al drich. another former resident. A number of parties were given for Mrs. Aldrich during a brief stay. Mr. and Mrs. Aldrich, who now live on the island of Lanai.
