Couple to Wed In June Service Eagle Point Mr. and 'Mrs. Calvin Clayton of Butte Falls star route, Box 70, Eagle Point, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Joy Atch ley, to Ernest John Wisely, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A Wisely of 97 Bigham lane, Central Point. Miss Atchley is a student at Eagle Point High school. Mr. Wisely is a student at Southern Oregon college and is employed at Fir Ply corporation, Camp White. : A home wedding is planned for June 14. Tie second annual Junior-Senior Banquet, gtoa lor students who do not attend the Medferd High school prom, was held in the Jacks a hotel Pioneer room May 11. Making Up ike committee on arrangements were (above, left to right) Gerald Kime. Central Point; Miss Terry Hughes, Medford, Don Strong, Medford, chairman, and Kenneth Jtrnold. Medford. Travel was the banquet theme, and Miss Hughes holds a stuffed toy Which was part of the decorations. Among tadents at the banquet were (left to right, feelow) Paul Poling, Miss Maxine Oldham. Gerald Hall. Miss Carol Boswell, Miss Betty Hershiser and Leroy Martin, all Medford. The banquet menu was bound with a colorful ticket folder provided by United Airlines, and menu items included fuselage (steak), air bumps (mashed potatoes) bites of sun shine, turbulence, senior take-off, flaps and prop wash (milk and iced tea.) Richard Schu chard was "navigator," the Rev. Clynton Cris man provided the take-off, the Rev. Robert Cornwall the "pilot's report" and the Rev. Haddon Robinson the "landing" or bene diction. . .Kenny Raymond provided organ music and a quintet and Dick Engdahl were also on the program. Announced Four homes have been offer ed for the tour which Medford Junior Service league will spon sor June 4 in order to raise funds for support of its kindergarten for deaf children. The homes are those of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Boyles, Ross lane; Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Skinner and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Graff, both on Hillside drive, and of Mrs. Floyd Hart, Grant road. All are located in one area of the Rogue valley for the convenience of those making the tour. , Tour hours will be two to five o'clock- and tea will be served at one of the homes. Mrs. Wright Scoville is general chairman and Mrs. Lon Skinner is co-chairman. Reservations may be made by calling Mrs. Gilbert Tumy, SP2-7400, or Mrs. Floyd Baker, SP2-7680. League members will serve as hostesses at each home. Mrs. R. B. Thierolf is tea chairman, and Mrs. Scott Ellis will decorate the tea table. League founders will pour. ' Cadet Officer Ends Visit with Parents Central Point Aviation cadet captain Larry Bigham, - son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Bigham, Cen tral Point, left Friday to return to duty with the U.S. Air Force at Bainbridge, Ga., after spend ing several days with his parents on Bigham lane. Cadet Bigham was recently graduated from pre-f light cadet school at San Antonio, Texas, and will now take primary training. He is a graduate of Crater High school and attended Linfield and San Jose State col leges before entering the service. Prior to his reporting back to duty he will visit his brother, David Bigham, airman third class, stationed at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. David is scheduled to visit his parents next week. Visiting at the Bigham home during Larry Bigham's visit were George Caldwell, a student at San Jose Bible college and friend of Bigham, of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Ina A. Fred ericks, grandmother of the cadet, of Los Angeles. Alumnae Club Southern .
