Tulsa-Austin Grange Notes Central Point Grange Members of the Central Point Grange enjoyed a Mother's day party sponsored by the juvenile Grange at their regular meeting, Friday, May 3. Corsages were presented to the mothers. Mrs. C. E. Debrick. matron for the juveniles, was in charge of the program which consisted of four pantomines and poems. The first poem, "Mother's Day" was recitedby Russell Frink with Mary enacted by Carl Foot, two angels by Donna Debrick and Bobby Darris and sailor by j Frankie Mengle, a poem, "Over- 1 Worked," was recited by Bobby I Kuest. Second pantomime, "Flor ence Nightingale" was portrayed ; by Carolee Kuest and the two 1 ragged children by Roy Fair and : Wayne Debrick. The third was led by a poem "School Days" by David Foot with Judy Gebhard acting as teacher and 'the children were Judy Frink and Diann Debrick A poem "Before It Is Too Late" was given by Frankie Mengle, and Mrs. Fred Kuest who was soloist for the children during the pantomines, sang "School Days." The fourth portrayal, a grand mother rocking, was by Carolee Kuest, with Mrs. Kuest singing "Silver Threads Among the Gold." The narrator throughout was David Foot. The final numbers were accordion sols by Bonnie Edge, piano sols by Judy Frink. The Mother's day motive was carried out in the table decora tions in colors of pink and white Lime sherbert, cookies, coffee and hot chocolate were served by the children, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Debrick, Mr. and Mrs Walter Foot and Mr. and Mrs. M. Cuthburth. The OLCC emphasized its po sition by handing out a 45-day suspension to one grocery store accused of selling beer to a minor. Hugh Kirkpatrick, OLCC chairman, said members viewed with grave concern an increas ing number of violations. "The commission is going to put into effect more penalties and more severe penalties as violations occur," he said. He said "it has come to our attention that grocery stores are riot watching minors as they should." The commission also an nounced a policy of no new liq-our-by-the- drink outlets in the state except in cases of demon strated "public need."
