(U.R) Coast Guard resumed an air and sea respue search today for a yacht believed to have sunk three miles off Race Point. A distress signal from the El len R. said Thursday night that eight men were aboajrd and the ship was sinking. The message said there were no lifeboats and only two life jackets on the ship. The Coast Guard cutter Acushnet, which received the message while at sea was at the scene and a helicopter was scheduled to leave Salem Coast Guard station today. The heli copter took part in the search Thursday night but was forced to land after dark.
