The dyer in stead dyed the hat brown in stead. Mrs. Komer sent it back and asked that it be redyed pink. The hat was sent to a New York dying specialist and was lost. Abortive Bank Robbery Attempt Nets 12 Years Portland (U.R) Frank Jones, former resident of Pitts burgh, Pa., who was convicted of the abortive attempt to hold up the Hollywood branch of the Benjamin Franklin Savings & Loan Association here last Oct ober, was sentenced to 12 years in prison yesterday. At the time of the attempted holdup, Jones had threatened bank employees with a bolt which he kept hidden in a pocket to simulate a pistol.
