Mrs. Gascon, the daughter of John, and Anna Hunter Payne, was born in England on May 31, 1899. She was married on Feb. 3, 1923, in Rochester, N.Y., to Albert T. Gascon, who survives. The family came to Gold Hill 10 years ago, where Gascon is employed by the Ideal Cement company. Mrs. Gascon was a member of the Church of Eng land. Other survivors include six sons, Kenneth Gascon, Roches ter, N.Y., Arthur Gascon, Elmer Gascon, Howard Gascon, and Leonard Gascon, all of Gold Hill, and Donald Gascon, who is with the U.S. Air Force, sta tioned at March Air Force base, Calif.: one daughter, Mrs. Gla dys Sutton, of Gold Hill; and eight grandchildren. Oden was cited for following too close, officers said. Theft Ray R. Koach, Forest Acres, Central Point, has report ed to city police the theft Tues day of two floor mats from a car while it was parked at the Rogue Valley Country club. The car is registered to Bob Weil, Gold Hill, according to police. The mats were valued at $17 each, they said. Accident A car operated by Jack William Lewis, 136 High land drive, Medford, was involv ed in an accident Tuesday with a parked car registered to Ray Llewellyn Casterline, 45 Modoc ave., Medford, on East Main st. between Myrtle st. and Corning Court, according to city police. To Salem ' County Judge Rodney Keating is in Salem to day attending an all-day meeting of a newly-appointed state com mittee on local government. Judge Keating is chairman of the committee. Proposed legisla tive bills on local government recommended by the local gov ernment interim committee were to be discussed at the meeting.
