Mrs. Gascon, the daughter of
John, and Anna Hunter Payne,
was born in England on May 31,
1899. She was married on Feb.
3, 1923, in Rochester, N.Y., to
Albert T. Gascon, who survives.
The family came to Gold Hill
10 years ago, where Gascon is
employed by the Ideal Cement
company. Mrs. Gascon was a
member of the Church of Eng
land. Other survivors include six
sons, Kenneth Gascon, Roches
ter, N.Y., Arthur Gascon, Elmer
Gascon, Howard Gascon, and
Leonard Gascon, all of Gold
Hill, and Donald Gascon, who
is with the U.S. Air Force, sta
tioned at March Air Force base,
Calif.: one daughter, Mrs. Gla
dys Sutton, of Gold Hill; and
eight grandchildren.
