Patricia Grace, to Emil Conrad Knutson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Knutson, 1030 Stew art avenue, Medford. Miss Pinniger is a graduate of Grants Pass High school and atterrded Willamette university. She is now employed at Andy's Jewelers. Medford. Mr. Knutson was graduated from St. Mary's High school ' and served four years in the United States Navy. E. Hercher on Stratford avenue Wednesday evening. Families and friends of the pupils attended, and refresh ments were served following the program. Students playing piano solos were Sheryl Vaughn, Carol Lit tle, Carol Roach, Claudia Mor gan, Shirley Roach, Sally Polk, Jeanne Bevis, Diane Tomlin and Karen Morlan. Luncheon Reames Social club will hold a Christmas luncheon Wednes day, December 19 at 12 noon. Those having birthdays during October, November or Decemb er will be honored. Bartlett, were honored at a. party Monday night given by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Huntemann and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ayres at the Huntemann's home, 2207 Capital avenue. Miss Brist and Mr. Bartlett plan to be married December 21 in a quiet ceremony and will then travel to Iowa to visit the bride's par ents. Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Brist in Cedar Falls during the holidays. Miss Brist and Mr. Bartlett were guests of the Huntemanns for dinner, and the remainder of the guests arrived later as a surprise. The honored pair re ceived a shower of gifts for the kitchen of their new home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Mirick, Mrs. Richard Wester field and Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Werner. Miss Brist is orchestra director for Medford public schools and Mr. Bartlett, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard S. Bartlett. Salem, is band director for Hedrick Junior High school. Alvidine Coker Is Honor Guest A shower was held in honor of bride-elect Miss Alvidine Coker Tuesday, December 11, at the home of Mrs. John F. Williams, 121 Ashland avenue, Medford. Mrs. Clifford Crites was Mrs. Williams assistant hostess. Miss Coker is the fiancee of George K. Williams, son of the shower hostess. The wedding date has tentatively been set for late December. Red and white carnations and white tapers decorated the man telpiece and a red heart with wedding bells was centerpiece for the serving table. Attending the shower besides the honored guests were Mrs. Robert Roberts, Mrs. Roy Smith, Mrs. Bob Stephens, Mrs. Robert R. Gilstrap, Mrs. Pat Ryan, Mrs. Alvis Coker, Mrs. Al Clauss, Miss Vanita Cummings. Miss Margaret Medlin, Miss Darlene Stephens, Miss Linda Coker and Misses Dianne and Patsy Ryan. Joan Coffman Becomes Bride Of David Moore Miss Joan Coffman became the bride of David W. Moore in an evening service read at 8 o'clock, Friday, December 7, by the Rev. Sherman Moore, father of the bridegroom. The ceremony was performed before a small group of relatives and friends at the home of the bridegroom's parents, 342 Mae street, Medford. For her wedding the bride chose an aquamarine suit with white accessories, and a shoul der corsage of red roses. Her matron of honor, Mrs. Warren Davis, wore an aquamarine dress with red roses. Warren Davis was best man. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Coffman, Coleman Creek road, the bride was graduated from Phoenix High school in 1956. The bridegroom, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Sherman Moore, attended Medford High school. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1955 and is now stationed aboard the USS Engage. The party will honor the Rev. and Mrs. Leonard York, mis sionaries from British Hondur as and their family now home on furlough. The New York family returned home last July, and are spending a year in the states doing deputation work. Mrs. York and the three boys, Gerald, David and Daniel, are living on Pacific road, Medford while the Rev. Mr. York is tour ing the states. He will return to Medford for the holidays. Christmas refreshments and a "get acquainted" game will open the evenings activities. Mem bers of the youth department will present a choral tableau based on the song.
