Miss Joan Rae Johnson and Miss Jean Kae Johnson to Central Point men. Miss Joan Johnson is engaged to wed Dave Snook, and Miss Jean Johnson is the betrothed of Norman E. Mallon. Tiie two young women are the daughters of Mrs. Gerald W. Steward, 326 Oak Grove road, and Albert E. Johnson, 113 Mc Andrews road. Medford. Mr. Snook is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Snook, Route 2, Box 54. Ce.ntral Point, and Mr. Mal lon is the son of Mrs. Samuel N. llallon. Route 1, Box 460, Central Point, and the late Mr. Mallon. The two couples plan a double marriage ceremony June 15 on the 21 birthday anniversaries of the brides-to-be.' It will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal church, Medford. Both young women attended Medford High school and were graduated from Crescent City High school, California. Both later attended Humboldt State college. Areata, Calif. Mr. Mallon attended Crater High school and then served in the United States Marine Corps. He was discharged in October. Mr. Snook, who attended school in California, is now with Elk Lumber company. The ball will honor Miss Judy Lobdell, queen, and Margaret Spence, queen-elect. The ball will also honor the past counselors and counselors elect of Demolay Chapter of Medford. Job's Daughters of Bethels 14 and 55 and Medford Chapter of Demolay are invited to attend. Other officers elected at the meeting of Bethel 55 Tuesday were Miss Marcia Spence, senior princess; Miss Pat Hansen, jun ior princess; Miss Karalee Selby, guide; and Miss Linda Knips, marshall. At the November meeting three candidates were initiated. They included Misses Linda Teeter, Pamela Stacey and San dra Althens. Bethel 55 will meet January 8 when the new officers will be installed. Miss Chamberlin Robert Willard Engaged to Wed Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Chamber lin, 2312 Roberts road, Medford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Darlene, to Rob ert D. Willard, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Willard . of Provo, Utah. Miss Chamberlin graduated from high school at Pacific Union college, Anguin, Calif.. and is employed at Sacret Heart hospital. Mr. Willard is a student at Pacific? Union college where he is majoring in theology. The wedding date has been set for January 26. Medford Woman To Visit Hansons Mrs. Mathilda Gorder, who made her home at 219 North Oakdale until recently, has left Medford to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hanson. Mr. Han son was formerly Boy Scout executive here, and the family left not long ago to live in St. Paul, Minn. From St. Paul Mrs. Gorder will go to Alabama to make her home. jLuncheon Honors Miss McAllister Wedding Friday Miss K a t h r y n McAllister, daughter of Justice and Mrs. William M. McAllister, was honored at a bridal luncheon and shower yesterday afternoon at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Dwight H. Findley, Old Stage road. Hostesses for the party were Mrs. Findley. Mrs. Ken neth Denman and Mrs. Bayard Getchell. Decorations were in the Christmas theme. Miss McAllister, whose wed ding to Ray N. Miller of Lan caster. Pa., is set for Friday, December 21 at First Presbyter ian church, arrived home Friday from Stanford university. She was accompanied by her fiance, also a student at Stanford. Miss Ellen West is to be Miss McAllister's maid of honor, and other attendants will be Miss Ann Denman, Medford, Miss Donna Busch, Upland, Calif., her cousin, and Mrs. Nathaniel B. Bender Jr..
