David Dil worth officiated at the 3 o'clock afternoon ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira JC. Woodin of Yakima. The bridegroom has been making his home in Spo kane. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a light blue crepe dress styled along princess lines with satin panels. She wore a small white hat with sequin trim and a short veil and carried a white orchid encircled by stephanotis on a white Bible. Mrs. D. C. Treganowan attend ed the bride. She wore a beige lace sheath dress with a pink rosebud corsage. Dwight C. Treganowan serv ed as best man and James Grey, Medford,. and Vernon Travaille seated the guests. i Fall flowers decorated the altar and windows of the chapel for the ceremony. Following the services a re ception was held in the Spanish room of Wandermere Resort. As sisting at the reception were the college dormitory friends of the bride and her two sisters I Lillian Woodin and Miss Woodin of Yakima. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Woodin wore a black vel veteen dress with white acces sories and a lavender orchid cor sage. I The Mitchells were married November 25, 1896 in Lenox, Iowa, and moved to Medford in 1926 where Mr. Mitchell worked. for the city of Medford. Present for the reception were the 'couple's five children, Mrs. W. J. Crow, Quincy, Wash., Mrs. Allen Walker, Jerome, Idaho, Mrs. Ray Minter, Yreka, Calif., and Mrs. L. L. Peabody and P. H. Mitchell, both of Med ford, and seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Persons planning for retire ment will be interested in the many books on this subject at tiie Medford Public Library. Medford schools and is a gradu ate of Whitworth college. He Is employed by Pacific National Advertising agency in Spokane as production manager.
