A police official here Jried to explain: "They can perform the dance of the seven veils but they must' keep the seventh veil on. They can take away six." AWOL Military Police Officer Captured Vincennes, Ind. (U.P.) Bob by Gene Shuppard, 21, an AWOL military policeman, was captured in a tree Tuesday after he al legedly fled the scene of a fi nance company holdup. Authorities said Shuppard, absent from Marine MP duty in San Francisco, was spotted by Louisville Courier-Journal cor respondent J. J. Edrington while a posse of 75 policemen and sheriff's officers searched the area. Police found S620 on Shup pard, who was accused of rob bing the People's Finance Of fice at gunpoint. Amount of the loot was undetermined. The robber fled the office on foot and pulled a gun on a depu ty sheriff who stopped him near the city limits.
