Andrews served as Internal Revenue commissioner under President Eisenhower, but re signed with a bitter condemna-1 tion of the nation's income tax laws. I Ask Just Interpretation j The party's platform Is called "The 10 commandments for good government." j One of the planks call for the "Constitution of the United ; States and Bill of Rights cor-! rectly and justly interpreted; Americanism and American jus tice; states rights exercised and ! retained; removal of govern-' ment from business; individual ' state regulation of public edu-: cation and protection of the legal rights of labor to a degree I equal to the rights of all other groups of citizens." Four More Banks Up Interest Rate Washington ftl.R) Four more Federal Reserve banks raised their interest rates today in line with the government's anti-inflation policy. Federal reserve banks at Bos ton, Atlanta, St. Louis and Dal las pushed their interest rates to the 3 per cent level adopted by five other banks last week. Two already were charging the higher rate. The bank at Kansas City is now the only one in the Federal Reserve system still holding the old 23i per cent level. The 3 per cent rate Is the highest since the "bank holiday" of 1933. Whenever the reserve system steps up the rate charged to member banks that borrow from the system, it tends to make all borrowing more expen sive by forcing up interest rates throughout the economy. This normally tends to reduce bor rowing. The latest round of increases began last week when the banks at New York, Philadelphia, Richmond and Chicago jumped to 3 per cent. San Francisco and Minneapolis already were at that leveL Cleveland soon followed suit. FOILS PICTURE TAKING . Saginaw, Mich.
