Individual donors included Miss Florence Lance, Miss Lou Reynicsek, and E. P. Ireland of Medford. Mrs. Lelia Lamb of Central Point, and Mrs. Eliza beth Buck of Rogue River. A fund of $100 donated to the library by the Jackson County Health association is making it possible for the library to ampli fy and modernize its collection of books and pamphlets on the subjects of child development, the family, and mental health. Grange Live Oak Grange The Rogue River advanced school band presented a musi cal program at Live Oak Grange during the meeting held May 24. The boys and girls, under the direction of Neil Stone, were served ice cream and cake fol lowing the concert. The agricultural committee reported that hog prices had taken a sharp upturn and that spring larmb prices were hold ing steady, as were egg prices. Legislative chairman Larry Sheehan reported that the re vised farm bill, including the soil bank, had been passed. He also mentioned several other bills that were up for consideration. The building committee was authorized to purchase asbestos siding to finish the Grajige build ing, with work scheduled to Be gin in the near future. Chaplain Edith Osborne pre sented an impressive service in memory of Grange members Nel lie Robinson and Truman Drew. Mr. and Mrs. Plank served cof fee and doughnuts following the meeting.
