D. McAulay. The students will return to the cam- pus Sunday night. Garman will be honored at an open house Easter Sunday which will observe their golden wedding anniversary. The event will be held at the home of the Garman's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. K. D. Garman, 2722 Merriman road. Friends are invited to call on the honored couple during the open house, and hours are from 2:30 to 5 o'clock. The Garmans have lived in the valley for many years. Mrs. Charl es Boussum, president, conduct ed the meeting. C. E. Naffziger, treasurer, and Mrs. Clara M. Barry, secretary, read club material and the pres ident read a letter from U. S. Representative John A. Blatnik, Minnesota. The Townsend auxiliary will meet Wednesday, April 4. at Carpenters' hall for a potluck luncheon at 12:30 p.m. A meet ing will follow. Members are in vited to take friends. . A Townsend club dinner will be announced in the near future. Visitors are welcome at all meetings. Advanced First Aid I Training Class Held A class in standard and ad vanced American Red Cross first aid, under the instructions of LeRoy Williams, has just recent ly been completed. The class was held at the home of Mrs. John Ramos, 141 Cloverlane, for a six weeks period. Enrolled were homemakers, PTA workers, Girl Scout leaders, an interested fa ther and a policeman. At the last meeting the group expressed appreciation to Mr. Williams by presenting him with a gift certificate.
