TEN MEDFORD (OREGON) MAIL TRIBUNE Monday, January 23, 1956 Bloodmobile Slated For Shady Cove Feb. 7 Shady Cove The Red Cross bloodmobile will be set up at the VFW hall Feb. 7 from 2 to 7 p.m. to take blood donations from people in the communities of Eagle Point, Butte Falls, Pros pect, Elk Creek, Trail, and Shady Cove, according to Mrs. Ernest Segessenman, bloodmo bile chairman. This is the first time an at tempt has been made to have the bloodmobile in this area and it is hoped a quota of 200 pints will be reached. Volunteers are needed from each community to help man the unit. There has been an urgent need for blood by the people in these commu nities during the past several months. All churches and organiza tions in the area have been con tacted and members will take part in a house to house canvass for blood donors. Anyone desiring further in formation may contact either Mrs. Segessenman or any of the chairmen of the districts who are Eda Bonebrake, Eagle Point; Velma Casey, Butte Falls; Mrs. Leo Hoag, Prospect; Mrs. LeRoy Morse Hits at Administration's Foreign Policy Boston (U.R) Sen. Wayne L. Morse (D-Ore.) last night charged the Eisenhower admini stration with paying only "lip service" to bi-partisan foreign policy while scaring neutral na tions of the world deeper into Draper, Elk-Trail; Wayne Ash, Trail; and Mrs. Gene House, Shady Cove. their neutrality. Speaking to about 700 mem bers and guests of the Massa chusetts chapter of Americans for Democratic Action here, Sen. Morse said: "The time has come for the American people to hold this administration responsible for the securing ' of our prestige around the world." He said a great many facts about the Eisenhower foreign policy, to which the American people are entitled, "have been kept from the American people" and that the press of the coun try has gone along with the con cealment. He cited the Formosa resolu tion, considered in Congress a year ago, and said the Ameri can people were never given the facts about it. "We see an administation scaring the neutral nations of the world and causing them to re treat deeper and deeper into their neutrality as they watch and listen to our secretary of state." - On politics, Sen. Morse said, "the Democratic opposition to the Eisenhower administra tion will be pitted against un limited campaign funds supplied by big business interests which have,, been well served by the Eisenhower administration."
