Bloodmobile Slated For Shady Cove Feb. 7
Shady Cove The Red Cross
bloodmobile will be set up at
the VFW hall Feb. 7 from 2 to 7
p.m. to take blood donations
from people in the communities
of Eagle Point, Butte Falls, Pros
pect, Elk Creek, Trail, and
Shady Cove, according to Mrs.

part in a house to house canvass
for blood donors.

Morse Hits at Administration's Foreign Policy
Boston (U.R) Sen. Wayne
L. Morse (D-Ore.) last night
charged the Eisenhower admini
stration with paying only "lip
service" to bi-partisan foreign
policy while scaring neutral na

their neutrality.
Speaking to about 700 mem
bers and guests of the Massa
chusetts chapter of Americans
for Democratic Action here, Sen.
Morse said:
"The time has come for the
American people to hold this
administration responsible for
the securing ' of our prestige
around the world."
He said a great many facts
about the Eisenhower foreign
policy, to which the American
people are entitled, "have been
kept from the American people"
and that the press of the coun
try has gone along with the con
cealment. He cited the Formosa resolu
tion, considered in Congress a
year ago, and said the Ameri
can people were never given the
facts about it.
"We see an administation
scaring the neutral nations of the
world and causing them to re
treat deeper and deeper into
their neutrality as they watch
and listen to our secretary of
state." -
On politics, Sen. Morse said,
"the Democratic opposition to
the Eisenhower administra
tion will be pitted against un
limited campaign funds supplied
by big business interests which
have,, been well served by the
Eisenhower administration."
