The king of Aline Mosby - the boudoir is a set decorator at MGM whose speciality is fashioning beds for movie sets. He has made beds of roses, beds to dance on, beds for beauties to sob on and lie upon. Recently he composed a high point in his career: A record number of five beds for Lana Turner to slip into for "Diane." Courtesan Portrayed In the film, Lana plays a fam ous courtesan of 16th Century France. When she first arrives at the palace, she sleeps in a j narrow, simple bed. As she ac- j quires a procession of royal . lovers the beds are elaborate four-poster, canopied affairs. As for making him stop in terrupting you, my suggestion would be to have a heart-to-heart talk with him and tell him how you feel about the whole matter. Stress the fact that it embarrasses you to have him correct you in front of oth ers and that it makes you feel foolish to have him take over and finish a story you have been telling. Then, when you are with peo ple, you can save yourself a lot of embarrassment if you watch your husband from time to time when you are talking to see if he is getting ready to interrupt you. If he looks as if he were, forestall trouble by bringing him into the conversation with such statements as, "Do you re member just how many people were at the church bazaar?" or "I want my husband to tell you about the experiences we had on our trip." Wal ter Norblad (R-Ore.) said Sat urday that both the Navy and Air Force were cooperating in the search for a joint site for an airbase in Oregon. Norblad said the Air Force planned to abandon its base at Portland International Airport because of traffic congestion and inadequate runways. The Navy's plans to build a reserve base at Hillsboro have encountered pub lic opposition. Col. H. H.
