Sunday Services Set by Baptists The annual watch nigM serv ice of the First Baptist church, North Central ave. at Fifth rt., will be held following the Sun day evening serviee0on Jan. 1, rather than on the eve of Dec. 31. The Rev. James W. Neely will speak at the 7:30 p.m. service on the subject, "Can Good Come Out of '56?" Music will be pro vided by the Youth choir n3 an instrumental ensemble. All new members who have been received into the fellow ship of the churcfi during the past year will be especially hon ored. Assembly Church Ceremonies Set Ceremonies are planned for cradle roll department members at the Medford Assembly of God church to take place during the opening period of Sundajeschool at 9:45 a.m. The ceremonies will be held in connection with a recent attendance contest. "Making 1956 Count for God," will be the title of the Rev. Wil don Colbaugh's sermon at the 11 a.m. serviced Children's church will be held at 11 a.m. in the annex for boys and girls, 5 through 12 years of age. Miss Feme Bush and Mrs. Leora Ny lander direct the' children's work. The pastor's family will pre sent a musical number at the 7:30 p.m. evangelistic rally. The Rev. Pat Malone, Port land, will speak at 7:45 p.m., Thursday, and display a stone exhibit. The service will be open to the public. Presbyterians Set Watch Night Riles The watch night program at the First Presbyterian church Saturday will begin at 9 p.m. with an hour of 0 entertainment for all ages. Under the pattern of a radio program, several skits and magic stunts will be presented from 10 to 11 a.m. Two moving pictures will be shown, followed by re freshments. After 11 p.m., a service in the church sanctuary will commence with Dr. D. Kirkland West, the Rev. Ernest Volkman, and the Rev. John O. Reynolds, as lead ers.
