MAIL TRIBUNE Damage Suit Filed In Circuit Court o A damage suit for $7,061.35 against; the California Oregon Power company was filed in cir cuit court Tuesday by D. W. and Catherine Casey. The Caseys charge "careless ness, recklessness and negli gence" on the part of the power company when their three-room apartment, car, and other prop erty were destroyed about Sept. 5 by fire said to have been caused by a broken power wire. The home was located on old highway 99, one mile south of Gold Hill. Attorney George Rode repre sents the plaintiffs.
