It has been decided to buy uni forms for the school band and John Gartman, Lions members, spoke in regard to a joint meet ing in the Community hall Wed nesday, November 30. The ev ent will be a social one and in vitations are extended to the Lions clubs and auxiliaries at Shady Cove and Butte Falls. The birthday anniversary of Mrs. Nell Goode was observed. Mrs. Hubbard presided for the meeting and 17 members attend ed. The next meeting will be held December 14 at the home of Mrs. Vic Chapman and will be a Christmas party. friends, yourself! Send to Medford Mail Tribune, Household Arts Approve Seminary For Kansas City The Woman's division of Christian service of the Metho dist church is one of several Methodist organizations which this fall have approved the estab lishment of a theological school in Kaneas City, Mo. The executive committee of the Woman's division in New York recently voted that the Methodist women's organization would "look with favor" on a proposal for a seminary in con nection with the National col lege .for Christian workers, an institution of the Woman's div ision. The action was taken upon recommendation of the depart ment of work in Ijome fields. Two Methodist conferences in Missouri, the St. Louis and the Southwest Missouri, have en dorsed a seminary for Kansas City. The executive committee also approved the employment of a social worker in .. The committee was made up of Mrs. Verna McCallister, Mrs. Arthur Leavitt, Mrs. Kate Trow bridge and Mrs. Thelma Carter. After the business meeting ad journed the women's group met with the Scottish Rite members for refreshments. The Thanks giving theme was used. Electa Club Electa Social club will meet Friday, Novemmber 25 at 12:30 p.m., in the Girls Community club when elections will be held. Those who attend should take sack lunches.
