Approve Seminary
For Kansas City
The Woman's division of
Christian service of the Metho
dist church is one of several
Methodist organizations which
this fall have approved the estab
lishment of a theological school
in Kaneas City, Mo.
The executive committee of
the Woman's division in New
York recently voted that the
Methodist women's organization
would "look with favor" on a
proposal for a seminary in con
nection with the National col
lege .for Christian workers, an
institution of the Woman's div
ision. The action was taken upon
recommendation of the depart
ment of work in Ijome fields.
Two Methodist conferences in
Missouri, the St. Louis and the
Southwest Missouri, have en
dorsed a seminary for Kansas
City.
The executive committee also
approved the employment of a
social worker in .. Colorado
Springs, Colo., the site ;of the
new Air Force academy, saying
the area was strategic for church
development because of the ex
pected population boom.
