Press As You Sew, Advice of Specialist Madison, Wis. (IhR) Home- sewn garments can have that professional look, if you press as you sew. Gladys Meloche, clothing spe cialist at the University of Wis consin, says the trick is to press each part of the garment before it is joined to another. After making a seam, open it and press it flat before going to another seam. Pressed in the same direc tion as stitched. Curved areas which fit the rounded parts of the body need to be shaped. That is done by using a pression cushion to gfct rounded darts and sleeve caps, Traffic accidents will claim 55,000 lives a year in the U.S by 1965 if the volume of cars increases the expected 50 per cent by that time. o o ' (EIEdDCCIETriEIffin SIXTH AND GRAPE STREETS o 5 BIG FREE PARKING LOTS In the gROGETERIA Moon's ' You Don't Have To Over-Buy To Get CASE LOT PRICES UW TO PAY and ALL TODS WEEK On Del Monte - The World's BEST LIKED Canned Foods Complete Price Lists Posted For Your Easy Inspection TURKEY DINNER Sdd Mil With Any $10.00 Purchase in one day through Sunday, October 16th DINNER TICKETS USEABLE THROUGH OCTOBER 22 County Council President Names Business Meeting Held by Auxiliary rntri Point Central Point 'L'JfSfSS I Committee Head ineeLiug k ----i- with Mrs. Miiareo. famer, pi ce dent, presiding.
