Miss Tonn was graduated from Crater High school with the class of 1955.-Mr. Dunn was graduated from' Central Point High school in 1949 and attended Oregon State college for more than two years. Lions' Auxiliary Announces Plans For Style Show Rogue River Further plans for the annual fall fashion show of Rogue River Lions' auxiliary were made at a meeting of the executive board held at the home of Mrs. Dave Blair, Evans Val ley. The show is set for Thursday, September 1, at 8 p.m. in Rogue River High school gymnasium. Mrs. Richard DeArmond, gen eral chairman, has appointed committee chairman. They are Mrs. Larry Sheehan, decorations; Mrs. Ralph Bosse, favors; Mrs. Ed Schrecengost, programs and posters; Mrs. Ray Holmes, com mentator; Mrs. Carl Dick, re freshments; Mrs. Robert Pinkel, serving; Mrs. Richard Hargitt, kitchen; Mrs. Guy Musser, host esses; Mrs. Walter Kasworm, tables; Mrs. Gunnar Wohgen and Mrs. H. A. Botchek, assistant dressers and Mrs. Howard Mill er, publicity and ticket sales. Members of the auxiliary and Rogue River Lions' club will model. All will be used for the club's sight conservation and community service program. Job's Daughters Plan Style Show In Central Point Central Point "Happy, Holi days," is the theme chosen By Central Point Job s Daughters for the annual style show and tea to be held this year, Thursday, September 1, at 3 p.m. The event will be held in the Central Point Masonic hall and proceeds will go toward the purchase of new lodge robes for the group. ' The style show has five di visions to include various, types of recreational attire and cloth ing for work, casual and more formal accasions, which are worn by their age group. The clothing is modeled by the owners and about 35 girls will do the modeling. Some of the articles to be mod eled have been made by the girls themselves. Reservations may be made by calling Mrs. Everett Faber, tele phone Normandy 4-2743 by Aug ust 29. Refreshments will be served. In charge is Mrs. John Dun lap, Prospect, a member of the guardian council of Job's Daugh ters. Members on the committee include Miss Anita Conger, hon ored queen; Miss Vicki Noel, senior princess, and Miss Ro berta Dunlap. Each girl has made an apron for the apron sale to be held in connection with the tea and show. About 50 girls belong to the chapter. 1 Picnic Meeting Held by Group Cebu swamp, Military Order of the Lizards, USWVA, held a picnic and meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Rammin in Medford last Sunday after noon. A buffet dinner was served on the lawn. Thirty mem bers and guests were present. Mrs. Albert Wallis, Grants Pass, gila monster presided at the meeting. Renne Grosh of Ashland was initiated, into the order as a honorary member. Mrs. Rena Palmerton, Mrs. Ma bel Nicholson, Mrs. Berthan Nelson and Mrs. James Cech were elected delegates to the su preme convocation to be held at Long Beach, Calif. September 17 to 22. .
