McDonald, president of the Steelworkers Union, is a pipe smoker. He is said to be one of this country's most bril liant negotiators. Most clever ne gotiators smoke pipes. There is a reason. They keep the pipe go ing while negotiating. To speak they have to take the pipe out of the mouth. This prevents them from speaking without first thinking carefully of what they are going to say. Keep this in mind. Even if you are a cigar or a cigarette smoker take along a pipe when you talk business with a pipe smoker. When he is talking keep your-pipe in your mouth. In that way you will have a chance to prevent his getting the better of the deal. Leo All-Stars Under what sign are the best ballplayers born? Why, sir, un der the sign of Leo. That's what I claim.
