(International) Labor Delegates Hold Committee Sessions To Scan Resolutions The 53rd convention of the Oregon State Federation of Labor broke into eight commit tees yesterday afternoon to con side the 63 resolutions introduc ed since Monday.. Federation union label direc tor and others of that depart ment held a short meeting in the Med ford Labor Temple in the evening. Measures considered by the committees covered a wide range of interests. He also told the con vention his union intended to fight for arbitration and concilia tion rights for city firemen. Others delivering brief mes sages to the delegates were A. C. Logan, director of the state ap prenticeship council; Walter E. Griffin, director of apprentice ship, U.S. department of labor; Bill Riggs, international repre sentative of the Pulp and Sulphite Workers International union, and Gertrude Sweet, vice president of the Culinary Work ers International union.
