Bender Jr., the former Miss Diane Findley, was married Saturday, June 25, in First Presbyterian church here. She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Dwight Findley, Old Stage rdad. The bride's handsome wedding gown was of white imported organdy designed with close-fitting bodice and very full bell skirt. Her short veil was held bya circlet of white eyelet em broidery and she carried rosebuds. . (Brainerd Photo) t yt l - " ,r - ' YfJ lot - i Sacred Heart Catholic church was the setting for the wedding of Mary Elizabeth Segessenman and Chester Henry Pfluke Jr., on Saturday, June 25. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Segessenman, Shady Cove. The bride's wedding gown was of lace and she carried a bridal prayer book with an orchid and stephanotis. She had chosen pastel colors for her five attendants, who wore gowns of pink and blue lace, and the flowei girl's frock was of yellow. The reception which followed the ceremony Was at Rogue Valley Country club. Nathaniel B. Bender Jr., is shown here with his bride of a few minutes admiring the look of the new wedding ring on her left hand. Pictured with the newly wedded couple are the bride's mother (center) and the bridegroom's parents, wearing happy smiles. The reception which followed the wedding was at the home of the bride's parents. Dr. and Mrs. Findley, on Old Stage road, with 300 guests attending. . Later the couple left by air for San Francisco and Hawaii for a honeymoon stay of two weeks and after the middle of July will be at home in Seattle. The bridegroom, who attended the University of Washington in Seattle, is on the staff of an advertising firm in that city. The- bride is a' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph William Rice, 707 South Holly street. ' , Wedding Bells Ring By OLIVE STARCHER Brides and bridegrooms have provided the most important social news of June, with late June bring ing several large church weddings. Saturday, June 25, saw the wed ding of Miss Diane Findley to Na thaniel B. Bender Jr., at First Pres byterian church, and also the wed ding of Miss Mary Elizabeth Seges senman. and Chester Henry Pfluke Jr., at Sacred Heart Catholic church. Earlier in the month Miss Maureen Eve Rice became the bride of Randolph Earl Middieion in a ceremony held in Eugene, and an other large Medford wedding was that; of Venita Deloris Gardner to Dick Ray Jack in First Methodist church. Mr. and. Mrs. Dick Ray Jack are shown following their wedding June 17 . at First Methodist church, Medford. The bride is the former Venita Deloris Gard ner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur . L. Gardner; 323 South Peach street.' The bride was married in the church which she has attended since childhood, and she also was formerly a student at St. Mary's school in Medford, attending the University of Oregon after graduation.
