Hayen, 54, a state highway department em ployee, is reported today as "fair" at Community hospital where he was hospitalized after an automobile accident Tues day. Ross lane, is reported today as a medical pa tient at Sacred Heart hospital. Crane, 68, who died Wednesday, will be held in Spo kane, Wash., Saturday at 12 noon. The remains are being for warded tonight by Conger-Morris funeral home. The deceased was born Aug. 21, 1886, in Chicago m. She moved to Colville, Wash., about 1812., She retired from work with a telephone company after 35 years of service, and came to Medford .to live in 1951. She was a life member of the Tele phone Pioneers of America, and a member of Westminster Con gregational church in Spokane. Survivors' include three daugh ters, Mrs. W. Evidence in the apartment in dicated that she had been dead for about a week.' A slip in a sack of groceries was dated May Police were notified by an other resident of the apartment house.- City officers and sheriffs deputies investigated her death, and District Attorney Walter NuiJey and Deputy DA Gene Piazza also were called. Preliminary investigation in dicated the death was due to natural causes. Mrs. Cunning ham had apparently been seated on a devenport playing solitaire, and had fallen forward over a board on which the cards were placed. -Sheriffs deputies said this morning that a post mortem is planned. The body is at Conger Morris funeral home, where funeral arrangements are pend ing.
