Phillie Chucker Wild, Not Ornery Brooklyn (U.R) There were no Dodger hard feelings against Phillie pitcher Steve Ridzik to day even though he hit Carl Fu rillo, Roy Campanella and Jack ie Robinson with pitched balls Wednesday night. The consensus was that he was wild, not ornery. Robinson, whose helmet took the full brunt of a Ridzik pitch in the seventh innings said: "He was just wild, that's all. There were two men on when he hit me and Duke Snider was coming up next, so there isn't much question that it was an accident. Oaks Park Favored As Recreation Center Portland" (U.R) City plan ning director Lloyd Keefe said yesterday that Oaks Park would be easier of access and cost about $1,000,000 less than neighbor ing Ross Island as a site for Portland's $8,000,000 exposition recreation center. Keefe told a veterans lunch eon that Ross Island contained valuable sand and gravel de posits and that its owners want $1,500,000 for it. That, with the additional cost of access bridges to Ross island, would make the $1,000,000 dif ference. A full report on both sides will be made to the city planning commission soon, Keefe said.
