Casting Is Nearly Completed for '55 Kivanis Kapers - "Tel-A-Version," the 1955 Ki wanis Kapers show, is about three-fourths , cast, Dr. Abner Clark, talent committee chair man for the production, has announced. : Rehearsals for the Kapers are now in full swing with practice sessions scheduled five nights a week at the senior high school. Kiwanians and their wives, who will make up the chorus for the second act, had their first ses sion last night. The show, which is the Med f ord ; Kiwanis club's principal fund raising activity for its var '. ious projects for young people, is scheduled for February 23, 24, 25 and 26. Taltiit Parly Monday - Actual preparation ' on t h e show itself got underway Mon day with a talent party attend ed by about 200 people. Among those cast were 28 high school girls for chorus routines. - Advance director for the show ,is Don Hansen of Lassen pro " ductions. Later Randy. LaFeer will arrive ; to take over direc tion of the Kapers. The Kapers this year are a series of- "television" - shows. .They ire of various types- and some are take-offs' on , well-known TV.' programs. Plot for the show has St. Medford, pat ron saint of Medford, on a mis sion to earth to find out for St Gabriel what use is being made of television. Larwood, 51, former Medford resident who died in Salem Sun day j were held in Salem yester day,: according to word received here. . '- The deceased , was manager of Pacific Fruit and Produce com pany here, from 1935 until his transfer, to the position of sup ervisor in Salem in 1949. While in Medford he was active in the Elks and Rotary clubs and square dance circle, where he was well known as . a caller. Survivors include his wife, Laura; a son.
