Mrs. Geaney supervises quite a housekeeping job. Even as one group leaves, the help has to prepare for the next. Seldom does a day go by with out at least one dinner and a couple of receptions. ; , "I never have a minute to my self until everybody is bedded down and the local guests have been shooed out," she said. Blair House was built in 1824 by Dr. Joseph Lovell. It was the scene of many a gay party in the early days, and was sold in 1836 to Francis. Preston Blair forJ $6600. The government took over the house in 1942. Her Autograph Book Mrs. Geaney has seen them all.
