To deprive the parent of the privilege of sharing that day with his child is one of the cruel est things the child can do. One young woman writes: Q. "My parents cannot af ford a wedding at this time. I am engaged and we don't want to wait. My father is very close to retirement age and still has a small mortgage to pay on our house.
