Then Barnee's band cut loose with President Eisenhower's fa vorite, ."I've Got Spurs That Jingle, jangle, Jingle." Well, the Eisenhowers thought it . was swell. And they wrote Barnee little notes " to ; say thanks. The Notes ' First to arrive was from the President: ' "Mrs. Eisenhower and I join in warm thanks to you and the members of your orchestra for your contribution to the Citizens for Eisenhower rally , . . you played so many of my 'favorite' songs that the evening was a truly happy one for both of us." As usual we enjoyed your music immensely our thanks and appreciation to you for making the evening such a warm, jolly one.
