'Vogue' two-tone coloration. , 1955 Pontiacs Shown Tomorrow The 1955 models of Fontiac automobiles will go on display tomorrow at Dean's Fontiac, Sixth, and Grape sts, according to Bob Taylor, general' manager of the firm. Taylor said the new Pontiacs embody more engineering ad vances than has any model since the introduction of the first Pon tiac in 1926. It has 109 new features, many of them new to the automotive industry, and all of them important to the safe ty, comfort, performance and ap pearance of the car, Taylor stat ed. New Engine A new 180-horsepower, V - 8 engine is among the new fea tures, and the new power plant has many innovations designed to produce greater power, per formance and economy. The 1955 models have an "all new" body styling, featuring long, low- road-hugging design, with overall height of the bod ies 2 V inches lower. The hood line is 3 inches lower than previous models. Windshield glass area is increased. Kenneth Davis and representatives of a Los Angel es counseling firm argue for the AFL Lumber and Sawmill Workers union. Employers are scheduled to present their arguments next week, after which rebuttal from both sides will be heard.
