Bookbinder's Story At McCarthy Hearing No Security Threat Wednesday. August 12. 1153 MEDFORD (ORKGOIQ MAIL TSXST7X-JTVX Washington U.E An at torney insisted today that "no serious" threat to national se curity was involved in the secret testimony a government book binder gave Sen. Joseph R. Mc Carthy's Permanent Investiga ting subcommittee. The attorney, Stanley B. Frosh, revealed that the book binder and his wife, Edward and Esther Rothschild, were among those who testified at a closed subcommittee meeting Monday. Security Unimpaired They answered all questions put to them "fully and com pletely," Frosh said in a state ment "No testimony ... in any way indicated a serious situa tion Insofar as national security is concerned. The all-Republican subcom mittee has been holding secret sessions this week, including to day, on possible security leaks at the Government Printing of fice. It plans to launch a public inquiry next week.
