the congregation here. He is fill
ing the pulpit in the place of
the pastor, Shelvy H. Angle
myer, who was called away be
cause of the death of a rela
tive. Loyalty Day et
Sunday, July 20, will be a
special Loyalty Sunday, when
all members are asked to be
present. Each member will be
asked to make a commitment
of life and substance for the on
going of the local congregation
and it's service through it's
many avenues, such as missions,
education and benevolence.
This Sunday evening, July
13, a group will present a pro
gram featuring the state conven
tion of the denomination recent
ly held at Turner. The follow

To Close Campaign
Closing his Medford "Cam
paign for Christ and the Bible"
Sunday at 7:30 p.m., in the Bible
auditorium, 910 South Central,
Evangelist Harold E. Metcalf
will preach on the "Three Hea
vens." He will present scriptures
showing which heaven will be
the reward of the redeemed,
which one is Paradise, which is
the home of unfallen beings, and
which one "will pass away with
a great noise."
Saturday at 7:15 p.m. there
will be a vesper service, follow
ed at 8 p.m. by a fellowship
meeting in honor of the 84 per
sons who have been baptized
during the four months' series
of meetings. The program will
feature musical numbers, Bible
quizzes, microphone interviews
and a march. Baptismal certifi
cates will be presented.
