V';.?- i Medford MEDFORD, OREGON, SUNDAY, JUNE 15, 1952 il June Brides By Olive Starcher June, favorite month for weddings, is here and the days are filled with wedding plans, church cere monies, shower parlies and all the rest of the pleas ant excitement which goes with a wedding in America. Last week saw several couples making their marriage vows, and numerous other ceremonies are set for this week-end and the remainder of June. June 7 brought two of the season's largest and rhost interesting weddings. Miss Mary Ann Miksche, (upper left) was married to Peter Thomas Trim at Sacred Heart Catholic church at two o'clock in the aft ernoon, and Miss JoAnn Barbara Larsen, (upper right), became the bride of Floyd Henry Hart Jr., af five o'clock in St. Mark's Episcopal church. The new Mr. and Mrs. Trim are traveling in Cana da on their honeymoon and will live at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, where the bridegroom is on the faculty of the University of Saskatchewan. Mr. and Mrs. Trim are shown (center left) leaving the church after the ceremony. The bride's sister, Mrs. Laurence A. Neer, is holding the train and the little flower girl, Maryanne Wilkinson, looks on. In the background are (left to right) Donald Wilkinson, usher, and Tom Nordby, the best man. During the reception, held at Rogue Valley Coun try club, the bride and bridegroom read messages of felicitation. Shown with them (below left) are the bride's brother, leo, (at left) who came from New York City for the wediiing, the bride's father, Ray mond Miksche, looking over the bridegroom's shoul der while another brother, Norbert, Prineville, Ore., and the bride's mother are at the right. Mr. and Mrs. Hart have left for California and New Mexico where the bridegroom is on duty at Roswell with the United States Air force. The newly weds are shown (center right) after the ceremony ot St. Mark's church. Later they were greeted by friends waiting in the church yard and are shown (below right) receiving best wishes from Mr. and Mrs. Justin Smith. The maid-of-honor, Miss Donna Shaw, Is shown ot left. The reception which followed the ceremony was given by the bride's parents at the Hart's home near Central Point.
