Considering the normal inter est the average male has in wom en's les, it would seem the men dominating the hosiery industry would handle the matter of fit ting more skillfully. Why not a Sev- Army Authorities Question Private Held by Czechs Frankfurt, Germany (UJD U. S. Army authorities ques tioned Pvt. Charles E. Wood Thursday about the three months he was held by Communists in Czechoslovakia. The State Department an nounced the; release of the Voth, Tex., soldier Wednesday. Army authorities refused to enlarge upon the announcement, except to say Wood had been turned over to American authori ties at an obscure point on' the Czech-German border March 29. Wood disappeared from his unit last December and shortly afterward was reported arrest ed by the Czechs. Authorities said that if Wood is found guilty of being absent without leave he will be court-martialed. Widow To Marry 'Forgotten Man' Indianola. Remnants of the jars of home- canned foods, eaten by Arthur D. Hileman, 72, and his son, Manley, 42, were undergoing tests by Dr. William Levin at the state hygienic laboratory. The men became ill March 22, the father dying the next day and his son on March 26. Betulism is caused by poisons, called toxins, secreted by a species of bacteria, Dr. Gordon C.
