Mr, and Mrs. Ned Starnes

Last Sunday afternoon saw two large wed
dings in Medford. Miss Charlotte Walker and
Gordon Marx were married at St. Mark's Epis
copal church, and the wedding of Miss Joan
Anderson to Ned Starnes was held at the First
Methodist church. Both ceremonies were fol
lowed by large receptions.
Mrs. Starnes is shown (center left) signing
her marriage papers following the rites, while

Among the guests at the Marx-Walker wed
ding were (center) Lester Harris, Mrs. C. T.
Steward, and Mrs. Harris, shown drinking theit
punch during the reception which followed in
the church parish hall.
Shown as they left the Walker home for th
church are (center right) the bride and her two
sisters, Mrs. LaVerne Truax, (left) who was
matron-of-honor, and Miss Molly Walker, (right)
who was a ring-bearer.
During the Starnes-Anderson reception,
given by Mr. and Mrs. Harry R. Prentice at their
home, three of the bride's small friends sere
naded the bridal couple with a special song.
