Seems in recent years quite a little Scotch whiskey younger than that has been shipped to the United States of America. In fact some distillers in Scotland are protesting the aforemen tioned ruling. What I would like to know is, how it is possible to determine the age of Scotch whiskey? If it says on the label it is 16 years old or 20 years old is it possible to exactly check the truth of this claim?
