Ore., June 23 (U.Ri Corvallis has accepted the bid of Kalman and company lor pur chase of S75, 993.72 in Bancroft improvement bonds for the city. The company was low of four bidders on the bonds which have an interest rate of ls per cent and are dated to expire between 1951 and 1960. An $11 premium was offered by the Kalman firm, with a net interest cost to the city of $7073,90. School offic ials said today the purpose of the annual summer study pro gram is to strengthen students with weaknesses in fundamental subjects, to cover material lost by students because of illness or other reasons, and to permit oc casional grade readjustments. The summer classes at the jun ior high school are offered with out charge to Medford students and to students of school dis tricts which regularly transport to Medford schools.
