Arlee Ragsdale and Lo ona Hughes are Instructors. There will be two more Monday night sessions for Upper Roguu Extension members and their families, on Monday, May 22, and Monday, May 28. The Brownie's Mother's Day program and tea was held May 12 at Shady Cove schoolhouse. The Brownie story was drama tized and the Brownies Flying Up were assisted with their Girl Scout promise and laws by the Intermediate scouts and Mrs. Hopkins, Girl Scout executive of Medford. Guests present were Mis. Hopkins and her mother, Mrs. O. C. Krotz and Mrs. T. M. Llltlefield. Mothers attending were Mesdames Plnney, Lcmp ke, George, LeKey, Hicks, Brlggs, Walker, Allen, Cooper and Chaney. There are 19 Brownies in the troop and all were present. Mrs. R. J. Lane is leader, and Mrs. Al Cooper assistant leader. Upper Rogue Extension unit met May 16 at the home of Mrs. R, J. Lane on Longbranch road. A talk Hiid demonstration on "Modem Home Lighting" was given by Miss Eula Wlntermote, county demonstration agent. It was voted by the members to pay for a 4-H scholarship to Summer school. Luncheon was served by Mrs. Sehauble, Mrs. Holcomb and Mrs. Bishop. Last activity of the summer will be a picnic for unit members and friends on Tuesday, June 20, at Casey State Park starting at 11 a.m. I D. W.
