Horses & Women "For a woman to be truly fascinating she should have a mouth that is a little larger than is quite pronortionate to the other features. Women with this type of mouth are usually genial, tolerant, lovable and human and have a great appeal to men." That's what Harry Thurston Peck said in a discussion of the female sex titled, "The Woman of Fascination." By a "woman of fascination," Mr. Peck meant the type that drives men wild such as Mme. Du Barry, Mme. Pompadour, Nell Gwynne, Gaby Deslys and the lady described in Mr. Kipling's poem, "The Vampire." Blond or Brunette Again the question arises, was Cleopatra a blonde or a bru nette? I have been claiming she was brunette. If anybody proves she was a blonde I figure I am stuck for 1,786,432 stogies. That beautiful and talented actress, Claire Luce, believes Cleo was a blonde. When Claire played Cleopatra in Shakespeare's "An thony and Cleopatra," at Strat-ford-on-Avon, she played her as a blonde. That's what a New York er says. I never saw a woman wearing her wedding ring that way. Still it might be a good idea for young widows. It would in dicate they were in circulation again and might attract the te tention of some matrimonially inclined men who would seek Introductions. According to our Mules & Men experts she is very wrong. They say the "clinging vine technique" has been clicking with the male sex for over 3.000 years and is still going strong. It all depends on how it is handled. That is, it must now be utilized in the modern manner rather than in mid-Victorian way. Our M & M experts also say the "clinging vine technique" should be continued after mar riage. If not, the wife is very likely to find that she has be come "the sturdy oak" of the family and the husband the clinging vine. More on this vital ly important matter anon.
