TWELVE MEDFORD (OREGON) MAIL TRIBUNE Wedneiday, May 10. 1930 Full Program for May Festival at Phoenix Listed Phoenix, May 10 The full program of the Phoenix May fes- ; iival. to be held here Saturday and Sunday, was announced to day by sponsors of the event. It will be held at the new Phoenix Youth Center and grounds. I Festivities will start at 11 a.m. with the crowning of the festi val queen, and at 11:30 a.m. a parade and music will be held. The rest of the schedule fol lows: Schedule Given Noon judging of parade floats; 12:30 p.m. music by bands; 1 p.m. square dance ex-. hibition by sixth graders, prizes warded every hour until B p.m.; 1:30 p.m. piano solo; 1:45 p.m. trio; 2 p.m. Russian dance by Girl scouts; 2:30 p.m. trained horses: 2:45 p.m. Swedish songs j and music: 3 p.m. accordion numbers: continuous entertain-j I ment until 7 p.m. Ecening program: 7 p.m. dance numbers: 7:30 p.m. Ha waiian band music; 8 p.m. Ash land Kiwanlans; fl p.m. modern dancing at Youth Center build ing; old-time dancing at old high I scnooi gymnasium. Dedication Set Saturday program: 1 p.m. dedication of Youth Center build ing by Dr. Elmo Stevenson, pres- I idem o southern Oregon col lege: invocation by the Rev. Clark, Phoenix Presbyterian church; 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. music and dancing entertainment: 2:30 p.m. presentation of Mothers' day awards. Continuous enter tainment of day, including music, trained horses, Ashland Kiltie band and black-face numbers bv Phoenix Grange members. On Saturday morning, hand bills will be dropped from planes over Central Point, Jacksonville. Medford. Phoenix. Talent and Ashland.
