i TWO MEDFOHD (OREGON) MAIL TRIBUNE Tuesday, Mar National Commander Of DAV Auxiliary To Visit Medford Mrs. Henrietta Mills, Los An geles, national commander of the Disabled American Veter ans' auxiliary, will visit Medford Friday, May 5. Mrs. Mills first interest is hospital work, and she will visit the veterans ad ministration center at Camp White while here. A no-host luncheon will be given for Mrs. Mills at 12 noon at the Jackson hotel, and reser vations are to be made with Mrs. E. R. Neff, 2-7275 by noon Thursday. After the luncheon two local women, Mrs. E. R. Neff, nation al VAVS representative and Mrs. J. R. Lillie, state comman der of the auxiliary for Oregon, will take Mrs. Mills on a lour of the Camp White center. Cars will be provided lor other mem bers of the auxiliary who wish to visit the center. Mrs. Mills' work with veteran hospitals has extended over 1!6 years. The major share of this service has been at Sawtelle hos pital in California, and Mrs. Mills has received a number ol citations from the national de partment for her work. A special meeting of the local auxiliary will be held Friday at 8 p.m. in the armory, with re freshments following. 1 I ilH I; i 1 - i i Medford League To Elect Officers; Mayor To Speak Medford League of Women Voters will hold the annual meeting, with election of officers and yearly reports, at the May meeting set for Saturday.
