Visual Aids Program To Be Given Thursday For Junior High PTA "Use of Visual Aids in Teach ing" will be the subject discussed by Glenn Linn, principal of Med ford junior high school, at a meeting of the Junior High School Parent-Teacher associa tion to be held at 8 p.m., March 16, in the boys' gymnasium of the school. The girls' chorus, under the direction of Ray Lewis, will en tertain the group, and refresh ments will be served. Mr. Linn will illustrate his talk by using strip film and sound films, as used in teaching. He will also have a uciopucan machine, which projects pictures of opaque objects on a screen. He will show how this equipment fills an important role in teach ing. The film will run about 15 minutes, he said. Central Point Group To Learn Glovemaking At Wednesday Meeting Central Point Mrs. E. Central Point Club Schedules Plant Sale Central Point A plant sale will be held by Central Point Garden club members commenc ing at 9 a.m. Friday, March 17 in the Central Point fire hall. Mrs. Merritt Swing, chairman, asks committee members to be at the hall at 8 a.m. and the com mittee requests each of those tak ing plants, bulbs, shrubs or other items for the sale to label, wrap or place their contributions in containers for easier handling.
